Kept my banana for more for 20days and it's still perfecto inside. How? There is no hacks (those internet methods doesn't work this well anyway) or cumbersome storage manner. Just logic and realistic method in providing lower temperature for the banana. Ie : fridge. How hard.. just put in the fridge. Lol.

Being a food stylist means understanding ways to manipulate shelf life of your raw produce. Here's what I learned from my experience. An idiot proof method to having fresh banana. TBH I've never had problems keeping or storing my bananas. Look how beautiful it is inside, under that horrid looking skin that's forever a deceive.

Tip: put your bananas in fridge and start keeping them in fridge 80% into their full ripe with a bit of green still obvious and not when they already fully turned yellow (that goes into freezer if you are not eating it, and please remove skin before freezing it). That way they get more time to slowly ripe in cold temperature. Hence, extending shelf life, hence no need to visit the grocer every week for bananas.

About author
It is a blessing to have good food and we should all take food preparation seriously and appreciate food like how we savor all good food. Some people eat to live while others live to eat. Well, I would say I am a bit of both. Not entirely a big fan of food, as my dad always said that I eat like a cat. Wonder what does that mean. But nevertherless, I do like pretty things. So it started with food presentation everytime something is being served to the table. Then I thought its such a pity that it’ll be gone when you eat it. Thus, thanks to the ever growing high-tech world, photo snapping becomes really easy. After a whole bulk of them, I gave a deep thought to what should I do with it. Best solution, share it! So please enjoy all informations provided, and feel free to comment. Cheers~ Tweet me @ sycookies if you have suggestions on more interesting places to dine.
